What is water heater brass safety valve 

The water heater brass safety valve disc is pressed tightly against the valve seat, and the medium of the equipment cannot be discharged. When the pressure in the equipment exceeds the specified working pressure and reaches the opening pressure of the safety valve, the force of the internal medium acting on the alarm flap is greater than the force exerted on it by the loading mechanism, so the valve flap leaves the valve seat, the safety valve opens, and the equipment The internal medium is discharged through the valve seat. If the displacement of the safety valve is greater than the safety discharge volume of the equipment, the pressure in the equipment will gradually drop, and after a short time of exhaust, the pressure will drop back to the normal working pressure. At this time, the force exerted by the internal pressure on the valve flap is less than the force exerted on it by the loading mechanism, the valve flap is tightly pressed against the valve seat, the medium stops discharging, and the equipment continues to operate under normal working pressure. 
Applications of water heater brass safety valves                                                            
When the pressure of the vessel exceeds the design regulations, the water heater brass safety valve is automatically opened to discharge the excessive pressure in the gas reducer to prevent the vessel or pipeline from being damaged. When the pressure in the container drops to the normal operating pressure, it is automatically closed to avoid exhausting all the gas due to over-pressure in the container, resulting in waste and production interruption. The water heater brass safety valve is mainly composed of three parts: valve seat, valve disc (spool) and loading mechanism.

How to install water heater brass safety valves                                                       
1. Before installing brass safety valve, make sure the valve pressure conforms to water heater. The working pressure normally marked on safety valve body and water heater instructions.
2. Clean and remove any objects from the pipes (in particular bits of sealing and metal), which could obstruct and block the valves.
3. Ensure that both connecting pipes either side of the valve (upstream and downstream) are aligned (if they are not the brass safety valves may not work correctly).
4. Make sure that the two sections of the pipe (upstream and downstream) match, the brass safety valve will not absorb any gaps. Any distortions in the pipes may affect the tightness of the connection, the working of the valve and can even cause a rupture.

4. The rough brass safety valve bodies are trimmed and cut off unnecessary parts.
5. The rough brass safety valve bodies are washed with sanding machines, to clean the dirty and oils during production.
6. The rough brass bodies are machined by CNC machinery for threads and dimensions.
7. The machined  brass safety valve bodies are nickel- or chrome-plated.
8. The brass valves are ready for delivery after final finished goods quality inspection.
