1. Valve body
The material is brass, and the surface treatment includes nickel plating, chrome plating, natural color, and pickling. Nickel plating can be divided into dark nickel, matt nickel, and bright nickel. Chrome plating is more expensive than nickel plating. Different countries and markets require different raw materials. We mainly use ordinary brass HPb57-3 CuZn39Pb3 (two elements Cu and Pb raw material control).

2. Valve ball or disc
The material is brass, and the surface is chrome-plated. Generally, in order to save costs and facilitate the use of large-size products, solid balls are used for brass valves below φ39, hollow spheres above φ39, and flat-bottomed balls are generally used for solid balls to reduce weight. 3. PTFE seat
Also known as TEFLON, the chemical name is polytetrafluoroethylene.
1) Advantages: excellent chemical stability, no chemical effect with strong acid and strong alkali chemicals, high heat resistance, and cold resistance, the use temperature is generally -20 to 130 ℃, and the coefficient of friction is very high. Low, it is a good self-lubricating material;
2) Disadvantages: low mechanical properties, poor rigidity, cold fluidity, low thermal conductivity, large thermal expansion, low wear resistance (if you need to increase wear resistance, you can add fillers, such as graphite, disulfide, aluminum Powder, glass fiber, etc., moderately improved);

4. O-ring (rubber gasket)
NBR --- China's material code is 66B, which is divided into two types: 66B-1 and 66B-2.

5. Valve stem
The valve stem is divided into an O-ring structure stem and a pressure cap structure stem. The O-ring structure valve stem is sealed with an O-ring, and the pressure cap structure valve stem is sealed with a packing. The valve stem of the pressure cap structure is divided into the top-loading type and the bottom loading type.

6. Valve handle or hand-wheel
A) From the perspective of color, the handle is divided into red, yellow, blue, green, white, and black. Usually, different colors indicate different media: red generally indicates a higher temperature medium; yellow indicates a gas medium (European countries), so the brass valve with a yellow handle is a gas valve; blue generally indicates a lower temperature medium; white generally indicates Cold air medium; black generally means oily medium.
